I applaud his war efforts but, to me, it’s what people do when they don’t think they’re being watched. Again, what Benny, Burns and Jeb’s wife did was a cheesy move. According to the article, the judge was pretty aggravated and gave Benny a chance to explain himself. Benny only mumbled.
I remember Jack Benny on the radio at my mother’s knee, and later on black and white TV. Jack was 39 years old for about 40 years!
Just a few years ago Oliver North did a War Stories which disputed various conspiracy theories. So I don't know.
If I remember right, North concluded something along the lines of, the death Patton received was just the sort an old soldier like him would have wanted -- short of being killed in battle.
Btw, that name Donovan shows up in a number of interesting places, including as a close advisor to FDR in the months just before Pearl Harbor.
Yes, but it only works in reverse. Every time I put it in 'Forward' it stalls. It is supposed to be under warranty but I can't get the dealer to take any responsibility.
Actually, when I started out the idea was to see history from the POV of the people back then, so the +70 years was supposed to mean now. I added the minus to satisfy the people who believe there can only be one real time.
And for perspective, the jewelry was worth more than a Cadillac.
...Sorry for late post. Benny, I think hired Flywheel, Shyster and Flywheel...
