would anyone watch “24” without Jack Bauer?....

I’d like to say no. But 007 films are still being produced without Sean Connery.

They wouldn’t kill off Jack. Hey...how about a spinoff called “Chloe 24 - Rage of the Ubernerd”

He’s already announced he’s on for next season.

Jack Bauer is “24”. Without him, I’m gone. Since it is only 24 hours per season, I expect the season to end with him still being infected with the virus and leaving us to wait until next season to see how it turns out. The way things are going in America lately, we’ll probably see some “inner city” public school kid working on an antidote but cannot finish the research in chem lab because the school is being closed down due to Republican budget cuts.

When Jack got exposed to that incurable disease I knew this was the last season. It has to be. Any way the producers try to spin Jack our of it would look horribly contrived. And no, 24 is not 24 without Jack Bauer. His new sidekick, “Michelle Walker” would make a great CTU agent, but it won’t be “24”. I’m speculating Tony Almeda and Walker will take over for Jack next season.

I’ve been a fan of the show, but what seems to me to be a leftist tilt, evidenced by the presence of that scuz Janine Garafalo, the “Climate Change” PSA’s by the cast, and the transparent vilification of Blackwater this season has really rubbed me wrong way. I’ll finish the season out of curiosity, but I think I’m done with it.

It’s a tough call but I think it could be. I’m certain there are a few potential agents on the ground in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, etc. He/she may not be an alumnae of CTU specifically though.
If you are old enough to recall the old NBC Sunday Night Mystery series, a different detective every week. There is enough fertile ground in today’s world for plots and so forth.

For me, 24 already isn’t 24.

Keifer needs to quit whispering and speak up. His soft voice seems completely out of character and causes me to keep modulating the volume to hear what he's saying. How a puny little wimp like him got this great part is beyond me.

Considering that Kiefer has agreed to do a Season 8, he will probably survive Season 7.
