Binghamton's police chief said a man who killed 13 people inside an immigrant community center was depressed after recently losing a job and angry that he couldn't speak English well.
Police Chief Joseph Zikuski told CBS' The Early Show that the motives of 41-year-old Jiverly Wong, who had taken classes at the American Civic Association, to kill so many were not very clear.
"He recently lost a job, spoke very little or no English, and was angry because people looked down upon him," Zikuski told Early Show anchor Erica Hill. "That's all we have at this point. There's been no notes or anything like that to indicate what his motives may have been and we're hoping to get some more light shed on why he did something as horrible as this. But that's all we may end up with."

Yeah, every time that I misspell a word here, I grab my uzi and kill a few people...
Caption: “That lady who called 911 say if it’s safe to go inside now?”
Why didn’t the messiah wave his wand and fix everything in the kook’s life.
Creating even more victim mentality.
They said his father worked at IBM. I’d love to know how long he had lived in the USA.
I wish these people would leave the world without taking anyone else with them.
The media does not know how to spin this one.
The “guns out of control” angle is in full play, but the fact the murderer is an immigrant and “person of color” has the MSM, briefly, not sure how to respond.
Giving 'reason' here; only plants seeds of 'justification' for those 'sick' who feel aggrieved. . .and wondering what they might do about it.
It sounds like a scam by the libs to coddle the “don't make me speak English” crowd AND the “guns are evil” crowd. Two birds with one stone.
Don't believe a damn word these “journalists” say.
Per the article, they don’t even know who exactly this guy is, but they know his motives? This sounds like a whitewash. It could easily be an educated technology worker ticked off that we’re letting more and more immigrants in to do hi-tech jobs and pushing out older folks who make more money.
It’s just awful fishy that they know nothing about the guy or even his name, but they already know that it’s “our” fault for being intolerant. hmmm...
Not condoning the actions in any way or suggesting I know the truth either. Condolences to the families.
But this has government, media spin written all over it. If he’s been in the country for 20+ years or has a parent that works in the U.S. it’s more likely that he got along just fine. If he’s ticked off about the language and not being able to find a job, wouldn’t he shoot up IBM? or the unemployment office? just thinking out loud.
