He may leave hairs on the carpet, but at least he can mow the lawn.
Hope, a white German Shepherd, is a dab paw around the garden as he shows off his skills with the Flymo at his home in Sutton Coldfield.
The four-year-old, who was the winner of National Pet Month in April 2008, can also play the piano, claim organisers of a new talent show.
His winning exploits are just an example of the skills being sought by the organisers of the inaugural Britain's Most Talented Pet.
The competition, run by The Ultimate Pet Show, is calling for entrants with sparkle - horses that sing, dogs that dance and cats that juggle.

ty just gets more gorgeous every day!
Thsnk you. The big girls won BOB and Keeley won 5 2nd in group and Rosey won 1 2nd in group at ARBA last weekend. The cattle dogs always beat us. LOL I can’t complain because I have one.
wow, beautiful dog, great photo.
Miss Shelley got one Seasoned pass this past weekend - needs just one more to get her Hunting Retriever title (at which point we will retire her from active competition, she's nine and this is her third career - she'll just ride on the truck and look superior at the tailgate party.)
Miss Ruby was at her first Seasoned test and didn't pass anything -- not surprised. In fact, when we came up to the line for the water test I realized since it's been so cold this winter she had never even SEEN a water double. So naturally she broke and ran for the first bird, she didn't know to look for a second one!
But it's impossible to duplicate test conditions, so it was good experience to see where the holes are.
My sister emailed me a video about Patches, the horse that takes car rides, eats fast food, watches TV and fetches beer from the fridge. Oh, he answers the phone too, but as his owner says, he doesn’t talk, just moves his lips LOL
Some of the hardest tears have been shed over the good dogs that have gone on ahead of me . . .
Me too. My sweet siamese, Eloise, is soon to be 19 years old and it may look like her last. I am just devastated.
That’s wonderful and Miss Shelley deserves it and she deserves to been seen as the Queen.
Oh Lordy, that Miss Ruby. What a character. She will do it. How many times have I sat at a show wanting my girls to win snything even a nice nod from the judge and nothing, nada, zilch.
But it's like having a Ferrari in the house - with no brakes.
I can believe that.
He’s a doll.
That’s an old picture. See how much straighter the back of the GSD is.
It’s very old. Flora Berkemeyer, c. 1915. They were square and wiry then.
She’s a she, actually, but she sure does like big boys!
Except when they chew her ears, like her friend, Bailey, the English Mastiff
Major, posing in front of one of his favorite flower pots. (He's quite the gardner!)
I was walking on air. I put the scoresheet in her album.
What a BEAUTIFUL dog!
Thank you. We think so. :)
