I didn’t watch much news for a couple of weeks, because I found it frustrating that almost no one — not even the staunchest conservatives – seemed to get it. Today, however, I am happy to see that a handful of commentators are edging closer to acknowledging what is really happening to America.
Even Bill O’Reilly is now using the term socialism (though he still claims that BHO has “good intentions”). O’Reilly, you will recall, is the guy who, back in the good old days when Rev. Wright was entertaining us nightly, insisted “I don’t believe for a second that Obama shares the reverend’s radical views.” (If the latter is not a precise quote, it’s a close paraphrase of statements about Obama that O’Reilly has repeatedly made.) Now that I’m back to watching the news, I’m happy to see that Sean Hannity, Karl Rove, and Newt Gingrich have begun to openly accuse BHO of lying. The other night, Hannity even used the word Bolsheviks in reference to what the Obamacrats are doing to this country.
But Dick Morris is even closer to zeroing in on the BHO endgame. He has frequently stated that BHO is well aware that his policies will destroy the U.S. economy. And he’s right. BHO knows exactly what he is doing. Morris believes that transforming the U.S. into a socialist country is more important to BHO than winning a second term. Pretty good insight – but on that one, he’s still a step away from fully getting it.

And, no...I still don’t think people are “getting it.” You can’t count conservatives on FoxNews or radio as a thermometer. Most of the American electorate are deluded.
Sadly there will always a good few who will never get it, even if the great zero came to them and took all that they had; they would still love him.
But America hasn’t spoken yet. You see, many see America as a place, but I see it as an ideology. It is a way of life, of dreams and above all achievement.
The Lady has yet to speak, but she will. 0 will never see the fulfillment of his plans. Not unless I am sadly mistaken.

But I bet he would not have had McCain on the night of Obama’s acceptance speech in Denver no matter how much McCain asked. O’Reilly is a pinhead. So therefore, no barometer. His fellow Democrats are happy to advance the socialist ball, but aren’t necessarily going to be happy with any attempts by Obama to crown himself Dictator for Life. Too many other ambitious thugs around who might approve of the concept, but who won’t tolerate anyone but themselves upon that throne.
As our socialist Community-Organizer-in-Chief has said in various situations, "that's the point". When asked about the stimulus spending money for no apparent reason, the thug said that spending money is the whole point of a stimulus bill. When asked whether he inhaled pot, Druggie 44 said inhaling was the whole point. Now that Former Senator Obama is destroying the economy, any sensible person knows that's the whole point of socialism; that's the goal.
I prefer the term ‘economic and moral fascism’.
I’m afraid that you are right, most Americans don’t get it. Public education has extinguished Prometheus’ fire and Obama=Pandora. Hope has yet to be found.
I work at a college and I’ve, recently, seen students walking around with a back pack that has a giant red hammer and sickle on it. Of course, you know the college environment has always been very liberal, but this is different. I now find myself observing the students with fear?, apprehension? disappointment? I can’t express what the feeling is but everything feels disastrously, different and it kind of numbs you. Yes, I got it in November, but sometimes you have to be slapped or kicked before your jolted into the reality around you.
The local university, near here, calls there campus center, Red Square and the name of the environmental school, Huxley. It’s been that way for the twenty years that I have lived here. They are openly socialist and dominate the whole county.
Many conservatives (Republicans) were so shell-shocked last fall when their net worth IRAs and savings plummitted 50% that they have, in essence, sold their political soul in hopes that Obama's economic fascist approach to the economy will pump their stocks and bonds back up to value.
That's my analysis, and the reason Obama's approval numbers are still above 50%.

From a college student on another forum when I asked him if he would obey if 51% of the people voted to strip him of all his posessions and throw him out on the street.
Public schools have extinguished the gift of fire that Prometheus gave us.
