Dressed in a cream embellished cardigan and green gingham skirt, Michelle Obama practically shimmered in the early morning sunlight today as she and her husband arrived at 10 Downing Street.
The US First Lady, who has been hailed by the fashion press as a modern-day Jackie O, was not clad in high-end designer labels as one might expect someone of her position to wear. Instead, the glamorous 45-year-old opted for a spring-like ensemble from American high-street favourite J Crew.

I'm guessing Mrs. Obama will have some competition for the spotlight:
This will be fun to watch.

Doesn’t this woman own any suits? She was supposedly a “high-power” career woman. When I worked in an office in a management capacity, I wouldn’t have worn that outfit to work let alone to a meeting with dignitaries. She looks like a low-level typist (no disrespect to typists).

I really like Mrs. BOs outfit. However, why does she button 3 buttons and make it obvious that the bottom 4 wont button (because its too tight around that part of her body)?Good grief, I just looked at the Daily Mail photo of Michelle. I think Michelle can be attractive, but she looks awful in that outfit! You're right... it's so obviously tight. Geesh, you'd think a First Lady could do better than that. Jackie O comparison, my arse...

What do you think of the navy blue opaque tights (hose) on Mrs. Brown? I’m no fashionista, but didn’t that style go out in the 80s? Or is it back in fashion....?

She should in no way be compared to Jackie O... wishful thinking on the part of the MSM.

I think she’s just ignorant. Someone put it into her mind that she’s a fashion plate, a trendsetter. Someone on the White House staff should give her a clue for all our sakes.
