Dressed in a cream embellished cardigan and green gingham skirt, Michelle Obama practically shimmered in the early morning sunlight today as she and her husband arrived at 10 Downing Street.
The US First Lady, who has been hailed by the fashion press as a modern-day Jackie O, was not clad in high-end designer labels as one might expect someone of her position to wear. Instead, the glamorous 45-year-old opted for a spring-like ensemble from American high-street favourite J Crew.

Oh barf. Does anyone remember our lovely First Lady Laura Bush being described in this way by the MSM? I thought not...

Well, any other year it probably wouldn’t have been a big deal, but this was Midland TX in 1980 and the vote turnout in our precinct was fabulous. I think I stood in line for a couple of hours. Sat I mean. And, fortunately the baby was not born for about 3 more weeks.

I have always thought of JCREW as being high priced LOW quality clothes, and more than often Preppy.
She looks AWFUL...nothing matches or goes together.....Fashionista my ass.

That does make a difference! I didn’t vote until 1984, but at least got to campaign and vote for President Reagan once!
Anoreth turned 18 last week and had to go to the DMV for her permanent driver’s license (32 dollars!), and registered to vote. After listening to her gripe about how the DMV was just like the old Soviet Union, the employee put “Libertarian” on her voter registration.

Nothing like J Crew for those international state events. Good God, and they dare to compare her to Jackie?

I think that Mrs Brown’s coat length is the problem. It is too long.
Mrs Obama’s outfit is just, well, new money goes to the private school PTA meeting for the first time.
The shoes are hideous.

Oh, is Mrs. Brown wearing a coat? I thought that was just a dress!
... new money goes to the private school PTA meeting for the first time.
Brilliant! Really, J. Crew ... same styles as Belk's "juniors"line, for three times as much.
