Chinese beer Snow leapt ahead of Bud Light to become the world's biggest selling beer as China stretches its lead as the largest beer market in the world, according to provisional data from researcher Plato Logic. Snow, which is brewed by SABMiller and its Chinese partner China Resources Enterprises Ltd, saw its 2008 sales volumes jump 19.1 percent to 61 million hectoliters putting it well ahead of Bud Light and sister brew Budweiser.

Bud tastes like crap anyway. I have never tried this beer but to taste better then Bud is not a difficult task.

There are hundreds of good brews in this country. How many beers are in China? Lot's of variables here. I'd love to try a can. I try the local beer in every country I go to. Gallo in Guatemala is one of the best I have had.

Thanks for the picture. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a pull tab that comes off of the can!

Reminded me of the beer cans we used to drink from in high scho--..errr, I mean college. Ah yes, I remember that first frosty sip of Miller High Life like it was just yesterday. I'll bet it tastes exactly the same way now.

Chinese ‘Snow’ beer has less formaldehyde in it than some of the lesser brands. They still put the equivalent of embalming fluid in Chinese beer, but not as much as they used to.

They use the same stuff in almost all imported beer.

Seriously, why would we care anymore. Bud is a foreign beer, too. Let the foreigners battle it out amongst themselves. I’ll drink Pabst if and when i drink.
I’d rather we still had Brew 102!

On of the bestest beers is Czech “Velkopopovicky Kozel”
especially when on tap.

The kanji do indeed say “snow”. I believe the English word refers to the unique smell of the beer.
