West Haven (WTNH) - A West Haven cat remains stuck in a precarious place.
Tigger has been stuck high-up in a tree on Canton Street. His owner, Chris Green, told News Channel 8 the cat climbed up there on his own this past weekend and is now too scared to come down.
The cat is clinging to one of the huge tree's thinner branches, around 100 feet up, and all the while he's crying out, apparently frightened.
"I've been trying to shake food, get up on a ladder," said Green. "I called police, fire, the humane society. They said it got up, it will come down."
Careful calling people idiots without reading the article:
Green is hoping that a tree service might come out to help.
“I’ve been trying to shake food, get up on a ladder,”
And sometimes even after fancy dinners, gifts, perfume, etc. you still can’t get it.
LOL. Like I said, get a trampoline. Thanks for the laugh.
Still makes me laugh.
That still makes him an idiot. If he cares about his cat, he won’t sitting inside hoping that Obama... uh... a tree service which magically show up and rescue his cat. He’ll call a tree service and take matters into his own hands.
“is hoping”
Heh. Idiot. Does he plan on paying said tree service? Because if he is, I know they will come out lickety-split.
“is hoping”
I’m hoping this guy gets a clue.
hire a crane or a cherry picker. It will cost but you will get your cat back. A small crane will probably cost you 1 to 2 k for half a day.
Oh, well, nix everything. Apparently this has already been taken care of.
Still, I can’t imagine why this became a news story at all. If it were my cat, I would have called the tree service and had the cat down before the news van could have shown up.
O the inexpressible joy! I shall be able to sleep soundly tonight!
Cat stuck up a tree rescued by calling a tree service.
They must have heard you
All the guy needs to do is bring an extension cord outside, attach an electric can opener, and open a can of catfood.
The sound of the electric can opener tends to attract cats.
About time someone listened to ME, right?
Sheesh.
They fall out after they starve.
My dad always said, you never see cat skeletons in trees. The cat will find a way down when it wants down.
"Ohhhhhh....The wonderful thing about Tiggers
Is Tiggers are wonderful things!
Their tops are made out of rubber
Their bottoms are made out of springs!
They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy
Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!
But the most wonderful thing about Tiggers is
I'm the only one. IIIII'm the only one!"
