"....rather than for headline-hogging gaffes, although the president didn't escape a few media jeers for his reliance on a giant TV screen in place of his trademark teleprompter to feed him his lines at Tuesday's primetime press conference."

What an idiot....a TELEPROMPTER President. I think that nickname is sticking....

Instant Internet communication and an explosion in political commentary are magnifying President Obama's gaffes and administration missteps, and could erode his popularity faster than that of other presidents

BULLSTALIN. Bush was assaulted by the Left and presstitutes before he even took office. BOTH elections he won. BOTH times he was denied an election night victory speech.

They posted thousands of pictures of him as Chimpy McBushitler.

Magazine covers portrayed him as Alfred E. Neuman.

News websites had files names of "a$$hole" and "brainwashed child" on images of Bush and his fans (rolling over the pictures would reveal the insulting filenames on "unbiased" news sites).

Obama doesn't have it HARDER than other presidents, he's been protected from the trial by fire that all president face.

Regardless of instant communications, nothing will stick without the late night comics vilifying him as they did (and still do) W Bush. In fact, Leno still belittles Bush while giving Zero a pass on his reliance on the TelePrompTer for his gift of gab.

Gosh, that never happened with Bush...

It appears to be slowly dawning on the communtariat that the weapons they used against Bush can be turned on themselves.

Experts say Obama needs to watch the gaffes

They aren’t gaffes. They are eyes into the soul, or lack thereof, of Barack Obama.

He’s simply stating what he believes to be true.

Only his lemmings would chalk it up as something as meaningless as a gaffe.

So it’s not his fault that his popularity is taking an historic fall. It’s that pesky Internet’s fault.

Michael S. Smith is the same man who decorated Merrill Lynch CEO John Thain’s executive office. The same redecoration that the Obamas railed against.

This turd is leaving a Stalinist smear on the White House.
