The little toy dog is covered with dust,
But sturdy and stanch he stands;
And the little toy soldier is red with rust,

Kissed them and put them there.

“And don’t you make any noise!”
So toddling off to his trundle-bed
He dreamed of the pretty toys.
And as he was dreaming, an angel song
Awakened our Little Boy Blue,—

But the little toy friends are true.

Ay, faithful to Little Boy Blue they stand,

Awaiting the touch of a little hand,
The smile of a little face.

Children are flowers.

How sweet! You’re such a talent! When are you going to put your poems into a book?

I keep saying “soon”.

I was just looking through a disc I made for backup. There are nearly 300 there.

My plan is to make two books, and have them printed spiral-bound. “Salt and Pepper Poetry: The Salt Book” and “Salt and Pepper Poetry: The Pepper Book”.

I wouldn't count too much on that. Lately I've been thinking it would be a good idea to build a flying saucer and go visit a neighboring planet.
