I’m amazed at the turn out in the east with all the rain.
Good for Patriots.

I shirked my duty today.
Instead, I pretended that everyone I met was a TEA-party co-conspirator, and I gave them all a full serving of my blend.
Starting at the U.S. Post Office.

LOL! Yup. And if I'd picked my other choice of screen name (Saorsa -- "Freedom" in Gaelic) I would have to have been also.

How sad.
We can't allow them to bring that over here.
/bringing up heavy stuff on the UT.
We are putting in tomatoes, zucchini, and peas this year. Last fall we planted garlic. I'm supposed to harvest it near the end of July....what fun!
Did you buy your crocus bulbs yet?

That’s why you didn’t pick Saorsa.
Also, I would have thought you were a female. ;-)
Don’t worry.
They’ll need bagpipes soon enough.

The bulbs will not arrive until August.
It was 58 degrees here today. I wanted to get out and start planting.

"You served tea to postal workers???" Oh, what a fine sense of humor you have!
Tea to Postal Workers! Hilarious!
Can you imagine the chaos that would ensue if our staid and unimaginative government workers got a dose of caffeine? Efficiency and energy in that environment would be like sunlight on vampires.
No, the blend I served was of conservative opinion.

Actually, I had a former screen name that was often taken for female. AFAIK, the only male name ending in ‘a’ is Bubba. (Though there may be Arabic exceptions to this rule.)

Right, they go in the soil in the fall. I wasn't thinking.
Do you have any tulips, or perennials? Something to get you through until you can work in the soil?
Are you starting seeds?
It's a lot of work to start plants from seed, IMHO.
