I’m glad you made it to services. A chiropractor or osteopath can be very helpful. My grandfather was an osteopath, and so were all the doctors in the practice we used in Broken Arrow. Although since my back problems are always pregnancy-related, it didn’t help that much ;-).
No decision on the brother’s name yet.
Barn swallows turned up again this morning. We put a stack of bricks on the ledge by the front door!
Thanks TC.
Did you hurt your back or is it just the weight of the Patriot you’re carrying? (Just, as in, it will pass.)
Face, a chiropractor helped my Sciatica.
It’s just the baby. I did a lot of cleaning yesterday, and it takes a day or two to recover.
Two people called me yesterday, wanting me to do something in the evening, and I told them no. I had to decide if I wanted to go to church today, or have fun last night.
Services were good; the speakers and the music were really great. All in keeping with The Risen Lord. Awesome!
I saw “No decision on the brothers name yet.” but it blended with “Barn swallows” so what I read was, “No decision on the brother’s name yet, but Barn Swallows...” I could easily finish that.... ;o]
” ... but Barn Swallows has definitely been eliminated as a choice ...”
I saw your answer. Glad it will pass.
Are you still accepting nominations for names?
Why do you have bricks by the door?
I know they are great, but my spinal arthritis may prevent him from doing anything. Malpractice, and all that. Most of them don’t want to touch anyone with widespread arthritis.
LOL!
That would be it! LOL!
Start Anoreth’s training early....have her do it.
She can only study so much.....
Suggestions for the name are welcome.
We have a brick pillar supporting a small overhang over our front door, and there’s about 12” on the top of the pillar beneath the roof. For the last two years, barn swallows have nested there and pooped on the door mat all summer. Last year, we put a flowerpot on top of the pillar, and they nested one top of the flowerpot, after griping for a couple of days that there wasn’t really room. Then they raised two nests of chicks!
I don’t *think* they can build a nest in the spot this year, but they may surprise us!
She knows how to clean, but only does it under duress. The Coast Guard will provide plenty of duress. *snicker*
I’ll have to ask my Mom if she still goes.
*HUG*
Trust me...if he’ll do it, I’ll go.
We have Cardinals, but we also have grackles and crows.
Last year the crows stole the cardinal eggs.
My husband has vowed to save the cardinals this year.
I'm really interested to see how he's going to achieve that.
LOL!
OK, I’ll let you know.
:-)

Anoreth put up bird houses in the woods around our subdivision a few years ago. Some have survived and are still getting bluebird and sparrow nests.
Our church has a well-designed bird sanctuary with some nests of species rarely seen in this area. They were talking about it at the cleanup last Saturday. That reminds me, I need to arrange to take the old Sisters out to lunch, so Sister Jay can tell Anoreth about her experiences in the Coast Guard during World War II! Maybe on Tuesday.
Some of the most fun I had as a kid was being a “bird-watcher.” My sister and our friend and I would head out into the country every summer day that the bird specialist was available, and we really learned a lot.
Nothing is better these days than to corner someone older who is willing to talk. :o])
