I remember when I was younger (and I’m 25!) when they had all these shows were people had to go through obstacle courses and what not.
Now it’s all teenybopper boybands and idiot rappers with slutty Hannah Montana and of course Hilary Duff who is already sexing herself up.

i’m 25 too...and yeh tv geared towards children seems different...the switch became apparent at or around the late 90’s
ironically though this was also the era of the boyband and puff daddy type rap which took the place of grunge and metal
When I was younger 1980’s they had “You Can’t Do That On Television”

I’m 24. nick was way different when I was growing up.
I casually watch the Real World on MTV and I remember a few seasons ago, they had a girl on who was an Army nurse and she was in Iraq. She was a Republican and the editing made her out to look like a complete psycho. Anytime she mentioned her position on the war, they desperately tried to make her look as uncool and crazy as they could.
Now, on this season, they have an Iraq war vet on who hates the war and hates GW. I’m grateful for his service, regardless of how he feels. However, they dedicated hours of covering him and his story. He kept saying in one episode, “I’m voting for Obama because if he wins, I know I will never have to go back there.” Well, in the last episode, he gets called up for active duty. And seeing how things are playing out now, Obama isn’t ending anything any time soon. So I guess we’ll see how well that promise works out./s
It’s frustrating to see the bias and no one pay attention to it. The indoctrination is so obvious to anyone who has eyes and ears. I’m sad that my generation is the one that brought on this mess.
