Wind powered Greenbird reached speeds of 126.1 mph

But did it also break wind?

But will it also carry six kids and all their baseball equipment?

That's right around terminal velocity in the spread position.

The last two storms that rolled through here last week had some industrial strength, heavy duty winds. A lot of the shingles on my roof also broke records as they flew off towards New Mexico.

There's always something about 'break' and 'wind' in the same sentence that brings out the kid in me.

My car makes a great breaking wind sound when I raise the rear power window. My nephews love it. Batman has the Batmobile. The X-Men have the Blackbird. I have “The Mighty Wind”.

When I read the headline, I immediately wondered, "How many cans of beans?"
Having got that out of my system, I am impressed by the technology but it is hard to apply to my going to work on the interstate.

I once saw a movie that this speed demon reminds me of. It was called “The World’s Fastest Indian” 2005 starring Anthony Hopkins. Not bad except he used gasoline to get to 201 mph in the late 1950’s

Would have liked to see the record attempted on I-94, east of Detroit at the first 14’3” bridge clearance...........
