The class is on Saturday at 9 AM to 5 PM.

and it does ask for students name, mothers name, fathers name and phone number.(shouldn't that be spouse a and spouse b?)

This came from an Irving Tx elementary school campus. I guess they wanna get those mama’s and daddy’s to vent to government employees and then get married. lol
An administrator I emailed says he is looking into it
I know I shouldn’t be but...OMG!! That’s what happens when the multicultural/bilingual door is opened. It’s Pandora’s box. We have Time Warner cable showing spanish language ads on the tv now. I hate them! And the Hispanics don’t get that they are basically being told that they are too stupid or lazy to learn english.
this is not what schools are for...
.. the free marriage license is a hoot.
Schools are expected to take up all the slack left by parents. If they can coach the parents into some more productive ways, that makes for a better school for everyone.
Now I don't think we should have government schools at all, but since the public has assigned the schools the task of being everything to everyone, this particular offering makes practical sense.
