I wonder if they were able to re-attach his wedding tackle? Either that or Mikhail is now known as Stubby.From the article:

In most cases like this that I've heard of, even if they are able to reattach things and it heals reasonably well, the patient's 'functionality' is never quite the same.

geez. It IS late. Right there in black & white & I missed it.
Thanks for pointing that out. Thankfully, I haven't heard of too many of these incidences, but I can't imagine that the old boy would be back to peak performance. With the number of blood vessels that are severed, not to mention the nerve damage, it doesn't seem like it would ... not that I have any medical knowledge whatsoever.
