OK fellow Freepers, I just got back from the local book store. The current issue has 8 cartoons of Rush Limbaugh as a crying baby on the cover. I couldn't find an article about Rush in the magizine and the article about the republicans made no sense to me. Am I the only one that doesn't get it. Is this a continuing effort to make Rush an enemy of the state. Thanks CDP

No problem. I know how much Rush is admired and I do read about him here. I guess I'm interested in him as a spokesperson but not enough to read about his roots, lol.

Lol, thanks, the transcript url has been posted to me before but imagine reading three hours of it!
I catch all the ‘important’ things he says here on Free Republic.
Thank you for your kind thoughts though.

I think it has to do with the Octomom and the media attention.

The New Yorker is implementing Rule #5 GOOD CALL...
RULE 5: "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon." There is no defense. It's irrational. It's infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions. (Pretty crude, rude and mean, huh? They want to create anger and fear.)

I know, I can’t stand Peggy Noonan, but I can’t resist leaving a remark on WSJ about the about face that she has done on Obama and the fact that it would have been helpful if she had looked a little deeper than Obama’s rhetorical skills before the election.

Have one of the high-up FReepers contact him and ask for transcripts.
If he understands you have nerve deafness, I bet he'll be synpathetic.
Or buy a subscription to Rush 24x7 and you'll likely find partial transcripts, for his best monologues.
Cheers!

Thank you grey whiskers. I did post earlier that I didn’t think I would read through 3 hours of script since I get the highlights here.
Some have posted a link to me before, which was nice of them.

Ugh, I listen to Peggy Noonan’s whiny voice on “Morning Joe” (the only cable news channel I get is MSNBC, unfortunately) and I realize that President Reagan had to selectively use what he needed from her speechwriting.
