And of course there's spikey and stinky durian, which I personally love (occasionally).

Wake me when they make a bacon-melon.

Here in Texas we don't regard tomatillo as exotic. More like a poor man’s tomato.

The pummelo is just about the best citrus fruit. But the ones you can buy in a supermarket are not very good.

All fruits and vegetables are good for you! Dig in and enjoy! I had a great fruit salad for breakfast. It gives me bountiful REAL energy in the morning — compared to a cup of caffeine with its artificial stimulation.

The caption stopped me as I read the ABC page. And some unusual fruits and vegetables have unvarying health benefits?

Reminds me of a line in a textbook I once edited: All roads in New England go uphill.

I’d like to try a pummelo. Largest fruit, sweeter than a grapefruit. If I lived in NYC or San Fran I’d try to find one in Chinatown.

Are those mirlitons on the lower right? I was thinking about trying to grow those this year.

The black watermelon is very much prized in Japan.

Of course, in this country, it is worshiped.
