Why are we being bombarded with all of this Cathholic Hog Wash? This is supposed to be a forum for new news and political discussion. Now we are flooded with all of this Religious what ever. If I wanted to read or be exposed to all of that I would join their Church.

And what you’ve just said is not even in your Bible. Great referencing there!
We all agree that the Bible is the Word of God. What we don’t believe is that the word of the Pope is worthy of supplanting the Word of God. Christ never prayed to the dead. Christ never had a “saint” that could intercede on behalf of just about anything a person could want (is there a “Saint” in charge of “staple gun problems,” yet?).
You take things that aren’t even remotely shown to have been believed or practiced in any book of your own Bible and believe them to be not only appropriate before God, but they should be performed or one is otherwise sinning?
That is heresy. However, I can still believe you are a fine conservative.
