I’m with you nufsed on this one. All of them are really impressive, no doubt they would not have gone so far.

Yet, Adam is the one who, to me, really stands out. I have seen a lot of Danny’s, they can sing. But Adam, wow, he’s going to be something special once given the chance to cut an album.

Kris was super tonight. As much as Danny has a likeable persona, if I had to pick the next one to go, sorry it would be Danny.

Now, my wife knows where’s my head on this, and she’s a Danny “fan” so she doesn’t like my message. Yet, Adam really is special, and come on, get real. Let’s think about it in terms of releasing a cd. Who is the one that you can best imagine delivering a cd that could even possibly become classic vinyl?

Kris, would have a few selective “hits”.

Danny - he would a deliver a “ok to play with company around” cd.

Adam ... bingo ... classic vinyl. Potential for history.

That’s the difference. Not a few selective hits, but potential for history. If he had a band, it would go to the top.

Sorry, but I got to put in my five cents one more time - Adam can close the deal with “Stairway to Heaven”. But it could all come down to which song is picked. Wrong choice in the song ... can ruin it all for you.

But I think Adam isn’t that stupid. He will probably make the right choice at the right time .... he will think about it, and make the right choice whatever he decides.

Other point I want to say, I thought Adam did a class act when he praised Kris and Danny tonight. I just like the guy. He’s a class act.

He is the only one who has consistently acknowledged the arrangers and the band. That's classy.

My wife starts trying to vote for Adam before he sings. I had to hide my phone or she'll speed dial on three phones. Teeny bopper moves.

I like to hear Adam do ballads and wear the suits, but he's destined to lead a rock band for my money.

Allison is my girl and I said it earlier, the top five seemed very good to me.

Agreed. Love him or hate him, he has been humble, and if you watch any of the other Idol related shows, the competitors to a person agreed Adam is the one they seek out for advice.

That tells me they respect him as a person , and that’s how my wife and I separate all the hype from his skills.

Being a conservative cynic, I took the praise to be plastic and a blatant attempt to sway feelings and co opt the rational reasons for disliking him. It was Obamaesk ploy
