Just move on Paula, you can do something more mature and we would accept it. I agree. She's still very attractive, but I don't want to see her dance like she's in the "Cold Hearted Snake" video anymore.

I try to remember what Randy or Kara wore so I can compare when we get back to the show to see if it was taped or not. It's hard to tell sometimes. Seacrest fools us by wearing the exact same thing live and in the taped interview so it's almost seemless.

Well....let’s see...the middle one is quite colorful..ish.
(I refuse to accept “that” as Americas Idol...nope...)

It's hard to tell sometimes. Seacrest fools us by wearing the exact same thing live and in the taped interview so it's almost seemless. So does Simon, that's why I try to remember what Randy, Kara or Paula are wearing. I guess it doesn't really matter though, since we now know a lot of them lip sync.

No, it’s been there for as long as I remember. When I was a kid we used to go to the Montgomery Wards there.
But you know, the whole Chicago area is really segmented. No one drives more then 20-25 minutes in any direction. Even less if you live in the city.
You wouldn’t know there is a recession with all the new stores popping up around here. Up north in Hoffman Estates they put up brand new Cabella’s, and LL Bean (plus another one at Old Orchard), a Sur La Tab, and all sorts of stores. Then they built a nice new mall in Bolingbrook with a Bass Pro Shop and Ikea across the street.

Ikea? I’ve heard that’s the place to go...there’s one in Cincinnati that everyone around here treks to...I guess I should go one day to see what all the fuss is about!

Couldnt have two rockers in the finals...so one had to go and of course it had to be Allison...but man, can she belt out a song! The only album I may buy from this year's crop will be hers.

There’s one by Woodfield, too. It’s not really that exciting. The only thing is you can see their crappy furniture in person. It’s great for college kids, people just starting on their own for the first time, or if you need furniture fast.
When I moved last year I need a TV stand and accent tables and picked them up there very cheap. I think I got all 4 pieces for under $500.

How about just choosing the best singer?
That’s a personal opinion. I don’t believe he is the best singer. And that has nothing to do with his personal life, I just don’t care for the stage/showy singing. That’s the wonderful thing about AI, everyone gets a choice on who they like.
To: Jrabbit
He underestimated the fan girls’ votes. Once again, know nothings determine who moves on. Sometimes they get it right, but most times they get it wrong. This year they got it wrong.
But it’s only a TV show, so it matters little in the grand scheme of things.

Ooh! Hoffman Estates is near Hackney’s...one of the places on my “must eat” list every time I return ‘home’ to Chicagoland :-)

It’s way after 11 and I’m just home from having drinks with my best friend and her fiance...and suddenly I shout out at the bar—do NOT tell me who got voted off Idol! The men turn from watching the Yankee game to say—you’re kidding me, right...but my girlfriend says that they stopped watching because they can’t stand that Kara. See...she gets on everyone’s nerves. So I still do not know who got the boot and am now going to watch the show along with the thread. Praying it’s not Kris. But know it wasn’t Adam otherwise Drudge would have had a siren.
