Anoop’s likability factor has gone down with his display of attitude last night. He had two good weeks, so suddenly he thinks he’s special. He’ll be gone soon enough.
I know what you mean about her not being AI material. She was unique and I had hopes she would be good, but she just never got her act together.
Well I still like Anoop but I’ll agree he had a bit of a ‘tude on Tuesday night...but last night he actually agreed that he should be in the bottom 3 after watching the replay...I’m thinking his mama got hold of him and said, “Boy, you mind your manners!” He probably will be the next one to go...or maybe Scott will go first but I’m thinking those 2 will be leaving AI soon.

Kellie Pickler to Perform Wednesday, April 8
Season Five finalist Kellie Pickler returns to the Idol stage to perform her new single, “Best Days of Your Life.”
Kellie Pickler’s gold-certified album, “Small Town Girl,” became the best-selling debut in 2006 by a solo country artist. Two of the album’s singles, “I Wonder,” and “Red High Heels,” placed on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Top 15 chart. Pickler’s self-titled sophomore album recently debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Album Chart, making her only the sixth country artist to have their debut and follow-up albums enter at the top of the charts. Winner of three 2008 CMT Awards, Pickler penned five of the album’s tracks, including the hit “Best Days of Your Life,” which was co-written with Taylor Swift. Swift, who also lends her background vocals on the record, will appear with Pickler on the “Fearless Tour 2009.” The six-month tour will visit 52 cities in 38 states and provinces across the U.S. and Canada.
No Taylor Hicks again. I’ll be very surprised if they let him plug his new CD, like they have let so many others including people like Kanye and Lady Gaga that were never affiliated with American Idol.

Allison's in a quandary -- being bottom 3 twice already means she needs to do something to get extra notice, but if she takes any kind of risk and doesn't nail it, she's likely gone.
For a while, in interviews, Taylor had been saying that he'd definitely be on Idol this year. Lately, he's been saying, "Well, the call hasn't come in." In other words, he's sounding less sure. It would've been perfect to have him on (or at least let him film his performance) last month, when he was in LA for "Grease." It's going to be a lot harder to fit it into his schedule now. He'd have to fly to LA and maybe cancel a Grease performance to do it. I doubt he'd do that.
Well, time will tell. It would be nice if they'd have him on during the May Sweeps, but again, it's going to be a bit hard to arrange things now.

They thought Chris was going to win and when he voted off there was a huge effort to pimp McPhee.
McPhee sang OK and had the extreme “hotness” going for her but her chops and performances were no match for “Gray Charles!”
I hope Taylor's new CD is a hit in spite of Idol.

The thing on her eye is one of the fashion world's several latest cutting edge pieces of idiocy. Lady Gaga fancies herself a fashionista, and her preference is for anything way out on the cutting edge.
Anyone who wants a window into just how decadant and perverse the fashion world has become, just watch 'America's Next Top Model' or the more extreme 'Make Me A Supermodel'. "Edgy" really means androgeny, soft porn and extreme weirdness. Here's a handful of typical examples from recent fashion shows (BTW, the money in that one photo is fake):

Unfortunately, it isn't. Taylor's album 'The Distance' is currently sitting at #191 on the Billboard 200 chart. It sold only 9,000 units during its debut week awhile back, and sold only 3,339 copies last week. Taylor released this album under his own label. It isn't clear to me that Taylor wants to be associated with American Idol now that he's gone independent.
Ot sounds like AI is going to stiff him again. He must have really pissed them off. Good for him then. It’s bad since it would have been a way to promote his CD, but, I think if he had it to do over again, I bet he would it the same way.
