I think Simon is correct-she said she didn’t care so why should the judges care enough to save her (even though we all know they wouldn’t). And Megan knew, too. You think they don't know precisely which favorites the judges will use the save on? I think she figured out the 'judges game' and pre-empted it. Good for her.

How hard is it for somebody in his administration to think of a dignified gift for one of our closest allies?? That would mean that someone would have to do a little research into the gifts of the past, to see what has already been given. This bunch can't be bothered to put effort into anything 'for others'. That much is obvious.

I remember that Q E visit/ pic from The Dose too...that really would have been a great gift.

Besides the iPod, they gave the queen a signed copy of a music book of Rogers and Hammerstein. Considering "Oklahoma" is the queen's favorite musical, I have a feeling that's one gift she might actually appreciate.
Now, if Michelle would just get another wardrobe designer....
