Seacrest presents him with a framed platinum record to signify his album has sold a million copies since it's release three months ago.Sigh about the Clinton thing, but entertainers are often booked to perform at such events. They may or may not have any political skin in such gigs.
Huh re the album's release. It was released November 18, 2008. The Idol icons seem to be having serious problems with basic arithmatic these days. Snicker...

When she did her caw thing the first time Vote For The Worst said it was a shout out to them and asking them to “support” her.
Given that they had picked her (and therefore stuck with her/will till she’s eliminated) I suspect it’s a “shout out” to VFTW (aka she must think she’s going - DI has been correct all season for the elimination position and they have her at the bottom)
