Worst Line of the night:"It was like Studio 57 up in here.

So, I'm at home this week, with a family that has one by one, come down with that nasty stomach flu. So far (knock on wood), I have not gotten it. But needless to say, I've been taking care of everyone and didn't have time to watch the show last night, so I had to watch all the perfomances on YouTube (Thank God for YouTube).

And in my search for pics for this week, I came across this hilarious blog of someone else's recap...it's tremendously funny and spot on.

But alas, here is my $.02 this week (listed in order of best to worse):

#1 Allison Iraheta - "Don't Speak"

Don't speak because I think you are the winner!!! You just can sing anything, and you sing it well. I love your voice and your style.

#2 Adam Lambert - "Play That Funky Music"

The tracks you are making in this show are awesome. Man, you rock and I hope you win this thing. You can sing the freakin' phone book and sound great. And I love that you are always staying true to your style. However strange the outfit you're wearing this week, you look great and are quite the looker.

#3 Anoop Desai - "Caught Up"

I was actually caught up this week...you are growing on me and I liked you again this week.

#4 Kris Allen - "Ain't No Sunshine"

Ain't no problem with your performance of this song. I love this song and I love the way you sang it. Awesome.

#5 Danny Gokey - "What Hurts the Most"

What hurts the most is that you sound the same every week. Stop with the slow songs and change it up dude...pick a style that is YOU. You can sing, and sing well, but you need to make it "original" to you.

#6 Megan Joy Corkrey - "Turn Your Lights Down Low"

Turn the lights down low and hide that damn tat. Again, this song didn't work for you (or me). I like your voice, but you have to find your style of song that fits it, otherwise it just sounds bad and is not enjoyable to listen to.

#7 Lil Rounds - "I Surrender"

I surrender, I surrender!!! Stop singing please. You try way too hard and were way off key. Also, Celien Dion is on the banned list, don't ya know? Didn't you check with the FReepers, to make sure before you chose a song? Of course, you get pimped AGAIN. Damn judges. I just don't understand why every year, they pick one of the not-so-very-good-singers to pimp and promote. I sure hope you don't win, you are not nearly as good as Allison, Adam or even Anoop. Shoot, even Danny is better than you. Sorry, maybe it's your "I'm all that" attitude that throws me off....

#8 Matt Giraud - "You Found Me"

I found you annoying and bad...really bad. Off key, pitchy, bad tone, bad sound, everything. It just wasn't a good performance at all.

#9 Scott MacIntyre - "Just The Way You Are"

I guess it's just the way you are and it's boring and getting old. And WTF happened to your hair? Good grief...when you are blind, you really shouldn't let people redo your hair..... And on that note, changing your hair style didn't change the outcome of my opinion of you. You can sing, but eh....as a former contestant of Idol (Danny) once said: "Some people weren't likin' it" and I'm not.

seriously, this girl can’t carry a note. that weird twangy thing she does is irritating. every performance is a complete and utter mess as Simon would say.

She seems like a nice enough girl but come on, there is no talent there that I haven’t seen in any grocery store in America.

ummm, and this from a music “big shot”.

she uses the same lines over and over again too. at least Paula is lovable. Kara is just kinda grating.

and seriously, I’m not a tattoo hater, I have a couple small ones myself, but for such a pretty girl to have that enormous thing attacking her arm is unappealing and distracting.

I almost hate to say this, but Kara is a blithering idiot when she makes an attempt to critique the singers. Heck, she makes Paula sound dang near coherent!

I enjoyed guest judges. I wish they’d do that again. at least it was interesting. Kara isn’t.
