I was stunned to come across this article about Harrison Tyler, the SON of America's 10th President John Tyler (who was President 20 years before Lincoln!!!), is still alive and living in obscurity at Virginia Tech.

Not the great-grandson of (1841) John Tyler, or the great-great grandson, or great-great-great ... but THE grandson of a President who possibly spoke directly with our Founding Fathers!

President John Tyler died in 1862, and had 15 children.

He was only one of three US Presidents to be married while in office. I just love this history stuff.
