Report: Bristol Palin and Fiancé Split
TODAY ^ | 03.11.09 | STAFF

The pair, parents to 2-month-old son Tripp, broke up 'a few weeks ago'

Bristol Palin and her fiancé Levi Johnston have broken up, two sources tell PEOPLE.

The split happened "a few weeks ago," according to a source close to the couple, but it's unclear what precipitated it. "It was a mutual thing," adds the source.

"It kind of just happened," says the source, referring to the split. "I thought they would stick it out. But I think they can work together to raise Tripp."

Despite the breakup, Levi still sees the couple's son. Levi's dad, Keith Johnston, told PEOPLE recently that his son is a devoted and "proud father."

Bristol, meanwhile, is attending Wasilla High, taking a class to supplement course work she is completing at home. She also is considering enrolling in college next fall and studying nursing.

Wow, that was almost as pretentious as your “now accepting apologies” announcement.

I’ll explain:

I can forgive, but it doesn’t remove the stain of sin from the person I have forgiven if they don’t repent.

I can forgive, but that doesn’t remove the requirements of justice that sinners make restitution for the temporal effects of their sin—thieves DO have to return their stolen loot, and moral vandals DO have to publicly acknowledge the damage and moral invalidity of their actions and statements.

Wow; your insults are a really impressive substitute for moral argument.

Let’s all give the insult angle a rest, o.k.? It doesn’t work on anyone who actually knows why he believes what he does.

It is pretty much not right to tell anyone what to do about their private life.

“It is pretty much not right to tell anyone what to do about their private life.”

So are you telling me this privately or publicly?

Interesting point, for as I read over your posts I am having a hard time understanding exactly what you believe, whether you are the Judge or God is.

As for me I believe thou doth protest too much...

You seem to have absolutely no problem with telling me what sort of discourse is best for me. Perhaps the distinction between public and private behaviour is not as clear as you wish it were?

It is a big deal. Palin’s daughter is just like them, now. The behaviour is exactly the same, except that there wasn’t an abortion.

The lefts’ most powerful and effective weapon is charging hypocrisy. They use it against anyone who threatens them.

Alinsky:

4. “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules. You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity.”

5. “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counteract ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.”

Everyone will get a chance to judge people and God will judge everyone’s moral worth by the same standard by which they judged other people’s moral worth.

But God will judge everyone’s actions by the immutable standards of His laws, and those laws are not open for revision just because society wants to do so. Theft is still theft and justice demands restitution; sexual immorality is still sexual immorality and justice demands that society hold those who promote it accountable.

We’ve seen the ridicule deployed in defence of moral relativism at great length on this very thread.

So they know why Bristol Palin damages conservatism, they just want everyone to look the other way.

God's laws and judgment are immutable and absolute, how ever lest ye forget so is his grace and mercy...

Perhaps you should invoke and enjoy the latter as much as you seem to take pleasure in the former.

Perhaps you can view my intentions as charitably as you view Bristol Palin’s, and stop psychologising me in lieu of actually rebutting me.

Do you really believe that God forgives all sins, no matter what?

Why should a murderer fear God’s wrath, according to your remarkable theology?

There is no psychoanalysis here, your words and thoughts are plainly displayed and quite clear.

I have nothing to rebut for in the grand scheme of things you are right to the extent of the laws of morality and God. You have made that well know to the point of redundancy however.

It is the mercy, grace and sense of proportion I find lacking.

Because I disagree with her having presented herself
as candidate for Vice President in the National election
I have a prurient interest in her dauther and am a gossip
monger?
Actually, I would prefer that the Palin family were no
longer on the national scene. They are because they (including Bristol) choose to be.
Appearing on a cable news channel in primetime to explain
her views and plans is designed to what? Return quietly to
live her life out of the spotlight? Or to continue to expose her
life and her choices to the public.
I do not think you are very honest.
As I have repeatedly said, it was Sarah Palin who thrust her
family onto the international stage.
Deny it all you want that does not change the facts.

I assume you follow Christ.

If so, you should also know that answer to that question and the fact that it wold depend on the individual in questions relationship with God.

When God sent his son, and sacrificed him for the forgiveness of sin, there was not a list of exceptions I have ever noted.

As such, my “theology” is not remarkable, but of God.

Actually in that sense I guess it is remarkable.

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Romans 8:1

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1John 1:9

“But where sin increased, grace increased all the more.” Romans 5:20

All I have to be graceful with is Bristol’s chirp that abstinence isn’t realistic, and that her love for Tripp is an effective substitute for a married father and mother.

This site is full of people swimming in great pools of grace and forgiveness for Bristol; I’m the one who has take the punchbowl away from the party and remind everyone else that what she did was objectively immoral, not just “a mistake,” and that what she’s doing now is still putting her own sentiments ahead of the child’s right to married and committed parents.

Half the people who have attacked me here seem really to believe that pre-marital sex and single parenthood are unobjectionable if the family is wealthy enough to prevent the children from becoming burdens to the state. This is crass utilitarianism and the opposite of traditional morality.

You are galloping along embarrasing yourself.
Use a dictionary.
Try to understand that there may be things
that you do not know.
For example; you might look up the word
“Fornication”. Had you done so, you would not
have posted this comment.
