The CDC has published some *real* science on this. go to the CDC site and search there. They are also looking at an investigational study.

So Morgellons may be caused by a subcutaneous infestation of tiny insects normally found in soil, is this the short version? And that it is not new.

Very nice. Interesting if true.

As a layperson on this subject who has done some research, all studies and doctor’s personal examinations point to this being a mental disorder, and its unlikely to changed as no evidence to the contrary has ever showed up.

Very, very interesting...from a lay person.

Very curious, however, why the author would provide the link about how beneficial bacillus subtillis can be, but then discourage anyone from using it??

When I lived in So. Calif. a few years ago a Los Angeles news channel interviewed a family that were suffering from Morgellons. The Mother & her two sons were "infected" were the words they used.

The Mom had had long beautiful red hair, still did on one side. The other side had fallen out due to the sores if I remember correctly.

They also interviewed a woman Doctor from San Francisco, who was working with the family and took the ailment very seriously,as I do. May God help you find the answers you need and comfort & heal you!

Okay, there seems to be some debate as to whether this is a physical or mental illness. I’m neither kind of doctor, so I’m just going to address the Springtail “connection” as I’m a pest service tech. I’ve treated many houses for springtails and have never, ever known them to be anything more than an aggravating nuisance because of the sheer numbers in which they will appear. They can come out of wet ground at something like 50,000 per ten square feet, I think. Hope I’m remembering that correctly. And once everything is dry...they’re gone...meaning it usually constitutes a moisture problem in the ground around the house, in the crawlspace or under a slab.
Anyway, I’ve never once heard of a customer getting sick from them even with a massive infestation. Last year, we started with 24” of rain in March alone and it was the wettest summer I’ve ever seen, I believe, with many, many calls for them. NO illnesses that I know of. I’ve never even heard of this “disease” till I saw this post. I don’t know about anything else on the subject, just wanted to post about my experience on that end of the matter. Who knows? I’ve been proven wrong before.

Interesting Video by Dr. Stricker finding AgroBacterium in Morgellons patients. He makes a remarkable comment, that it appears "Morgellons patients are being turned into plants ..."
