Not to defend Apple, but it doesn’t seem right that the Microsoft browser is IE8 and not IE7. IE8 is in beta and is not scheduled for public release for two weeks or so.

Actually IE8 is in RC stage so it’s not really a beta anymore, of course if you have used either of the RC’s you would disagree.

I’ve had IE 8 for going on a year now maybe longer. FYI IE8 is Release Candidate 1, which isn’t a beta any longer.
