Obama Ponders Outreach to Elements of the Taliban

WASHINGTON — President Obama declared in an interview that the United States was not winning the war in Afghanistan and opened the door to a reconciliation process in which the American military would reach out to moderate elements of the Taliban, much as it did with Sunni militias in Iraq.

So I suppose in return for their meeting with O we must abandon Israel.

You make a point. We may have to rethink supporting any military until we have a competent leader. He reaches out to our enemies and insults our allies for petty reasons. And BTW, he’s considering allowing our vets to be tried by the world court — how on earth can they operate effectively if they have that hanging over their heads?
