Lanzman said the decision to leave California and head to the dirt was finalized after jockey Joe Talamo told them the colt did not handle the Pro-Ride surface, which had taken a good deal of rain prior to the Robert Lewis Stakes (gr. II) and was spotty throughout. I Want Revenge gained narrow lead turning for home, but didnt kick on and had to settle for third, beaten 1 1/2 lengths.
Joe said at the quarter pole, it wasnt a question of whether or not we were going to win, but by how much, Lanzman said. But the horse just wasn't getting hold of the track. Joe said he thought he would do much better on dirt. And that was Jeffs opinion basically from the day we brought him in from the farm. So, we started looking for a dirt race, and the timing of the Gotham was perfect. We decided to find out now rather than later whether hell handle the dirt.

Grabbed a quarter at the beginning of his first race. Finished out of the money.
Has been training okay.

I believe that I Want Revenge is being ridden by one of the featured jockeys on the series The Jockeys on AnimalPlanet. He has some talent and is personable, someone I’d like to see succeed.

Can’t make it. Thanks for the invite.
Good day. The 8 made my day...Would have been huge if the 5 could have held on for 2nd.

Nobody around here pays attention to me, but, just for the hell of it, I’ll give a pick...10th at Santa Anita, #2.
8 minutes to post.

Sorry. It's just too early in the year for me. I'll be ready to play in a month or so.

Cowboy Cal is 6-1 right now. Seems to me I remember you using him a year ago.
To: gate2wire
You're right actually. I played him in the Bluegrass; ran 2nd I think. I put the video on. I'll watch.

Good thing nobody listens to me. :-)
2 used his energy before the race.
Nice win for Einstein.
To: gate2wire
Didn't look at the Form, but Einstein seems to be one of those horses who loses if I bet on him and wins if I don't.
