In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".
temerity \tuh-MER-uh-tee\, noun
Unreasonable or foolhardy contempt of danger; rashness.

Etymology:
Temerity comes from Latin temeritas, from temere, blindly, rashly.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-)

WFB's attempt to emulate us ; ) No pushing at the door please!
My brain isn’t working 100% today, I was thinking that tumerity was a form of tumid/tumescent, but then I re-read the word, and it’s temerity. UGH. No good lines come to mind for the real word. UNNNGH.
you know, no one is given a dang GIRL SCOUT BADGE for having a traditional birth, so what in the world is the reason to endure unnecessary pain??
you are fixating on your organ this AM! ROR!
Funny!
And that is why I believe it had to have been a man who came up with the idea!!!
Obama lacks not for temerity, only opportunity. Let’s see if he can bring back The Soviet Union and then lose to them.
LOL, saw that one, she’s no wimp!
Keith, according to former GF’s, lacks tumerity.
OK, so what if I made up the word, it fits.
She slices, she dices. She does with sarcasm what others can only do with knives.
i saw her on glenn beck this week and liked her better than i have in awhile. she was not as self aggrandizing as she has been in the past. and here too, she went to Cornell, but doesn’t mention it in the article, which makes her dissing of olbs that much better and more effective.
Relax, Keith. Now you can let people like you for you.Bwaahhahahahah.
this made me roar out loud.
baby looks just like the silky pony but has her mom’s eyes.
i send these things daily to the obam sheeple that i talk to. He wants to cover his eyes and ears and points to the polls where obams is sky high, LOL!! i said, gee, i am so glad you can comfort yourself that obams is still wildly popular while your retirement fund is circling the bowl!
Obama’s polls are about where W’s were at the same time into his presidency and below where Carter’s were. People must have been really hopeful back in 1977. Suckers.
