Whats surprising to me isn’t that they cut Owens, figured that would happen at the end of last season.

Its the timing that has me laughing.

Jerry Jones was flat out ‘vindictive’. The big money for Free Agents has been spent. Waiting til mid week AFTER the Friday commencement of Free Agency....wow.

Owens will now trash the Cowboys, as he has every former team.

From Oakland is my best guess.

A team would be smart to take TO, for one year. He will play with a huge chip on his shoulder and I predict he will have a great year. The problem is what comes after.

Owners don’t win games, the coaches and players do. JJ gets a lot of credit by the kool aid drinkers but no one wants to talk about all of the bad deals he made in the mid 90s that killed his team’s cap or the parade of morons he has had for coaches.

The Cowboys will never amount to a pinch of owl crap unless and until adults are running the organization. Here's what they have now.

Who the hell cares about the cowboys? I mean how long has it been since they have even won a post season game? America’s team? Please, they are a joke with an owner who has more money than good sense, who every year thinks he can buy a championship.

NO WAY, any team that picks him up even for a year will see their organization destroyed, he’s toxic, the only team that might want to pick him up would be say the Detriot Lions because they can’t get any worse.

Boller is an unrestricted free agent. So unless he signed yesterday or today, he is still up for grabs.

"How he sold the voters to build a new stadium is beyond me." Aggressive door to door campaign and won with a "HUGE!" majority of 51%.

“The Panthers? No way in hell.”

Jerry Richardson has too much class to take that idiot. If it should happen, I have tons of Panther memorabilia to sell cheap.

Can you imagine TO on one side and Steve Smith on the other?

Problem is can Jake Delhomme do a Kurt Warner and go all the way?

Here’s another possibility, although I think it’s a longshot.....KANSAS CITY!!!!

Yeah, OJ wasn’t convicted either.......I keep expecting to see some prison listed in the spot for where they played college ball one of these days in the NFL

Heard sales of seat licenses and season tickets for their new stadium has fallen off a cliff.

I hadn't heard that, but I suspected it. I've been getting about three emails a week trying to get me to spend a couple of hundred on some of those stupid Texas Stadium seats they're ripping out and will throw away if fans don't buy them. They've also held about ten "Closing Texas Stadium" events. Just started getting emails trying to get me to buy pieces of Texas Stadium Astroturf. The most expensive seat license is $150,000 for a thirty year license, and you have to buy season tickets every year at $340 per game. Least expensive ticket is $59 way up in the corner.

Here's Jerry's problem: As soon as Parcells started turning the team around, Jerry decided he wanted to run things again. Parcells leaves and takes the Cowboys brain trust with him to Miami. Jerry's kids are left. Jerry gives huge contracts to Roy Williams (about to be cut), Flozelle Adams (good for two false starts a game), Anthony Henry (traded for a backup QB), T.O. (just cut), Tony Romo (paid like Brady, ain't playing like Brady), and several others.

Soooooo, the Cowboys are opening up a 1.4 BILLION dollar stadium with a team that was barely above .500 last year, and IMHO, will be fortunate to be .500 this year. The Cowboys aren't the Browns or Eagles. Those fans will show up no matter what. When the Cowboys dropped to .500, they were playing to 20,000 empty seats in a 60,000 seat stadium. They're going to 80,000 seats at higher prices and Wade Phillips is less popular than Switzer in Cowboyland right now.
