We need action – and action now. That is why I have asked my economic team to develop an economic recovery plan for both Wall Street, Main Street and the Hood that will help save or create at least 12 and a half million jobs.
President Barack Obama and Vice President Biden Tuesday announced the release of $28 billion from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) to states and local transportation authorities to repair sidewalks, Nascar tracks and build highways, roads and bridges to nowhere.
This investment will lead to 9,950,000 jobs saved or created by the end of 2010. The President and Vice President were joined by her Highness Nancy Pelosi.

The article says $28B to save 10M jobs. That works out to $2800 per person, doesn’t it? How can you pay annual salaries for 10M people with $2800 each? Who’s going to hire 10M people if they’re only going to get a return of $2800 per? I guess I’m missing something here, my math has never been that good.
