Get rid of the incumbents! I am tired of the hypocrisy and double-talk. Let’s work to elect new members who remember why they are there...to represent us and what we want!!!!

Thanks for undercutting the GOP argument, Republicans.

McConnell should come out tomorrow with all the others on this list and pull ALL of their earmarks and begin a nonstop assault on the democrats, chosing one each day and making a list of their most absurd earmarks.

They won't. They have no ability to fight, and would rather be well thought of by their dem pals than to live by the principles they claim to believe in.

Yep.

Piling on the Pork: Outrageous Legislation in Omnibus Bill

JEFF FLAKE: Believe me, some of — some of my colleagues and myself have been arguing this for years. It was devastating today when the Democrats were able to come out and say, "Well, Republicans have 40 percent of these earmarks," and it was true. And we really can't separate ourselves from the Democrats as long as we continue to do this. So I'm with you there. We just can't get our colleagues to do it...

I read something earlier that mentioned that some Republicans were going to vote for this budget even though some blue dog dems were not. Seems Shelby and the the one from Miss were in favor of it. They need to be called.

It looks like they’re just playing a cynical game.

It also looks a whole lot like I’m going to have to take a good long look at a Conservative Party, IF it is organized with true candidates with true Conservative values. I’m sick of the whole darn thing; all the “social pecking order” of the “collegiate” members of the Senate with no values except hanging onto their seats at any cost. I wish the founders had factored in term limits to stop all this “career politician” nonsense.

The definition of insanity—trusting Republicans. As this shows, the great majority of them are total liars and hypocrites. Washington DC is on all fours with the WWE. The contests are all fake. The outcomes predetermined.

Thanks for posting this. I just wrote a letter to my Congresscritter, who I like. He's in the Pence-Flake crowd. Here's what I wrote:

Rep. Garrett,

I've voted for you a couple of times, happily. I respect the work you are doing, but I've about had it with the GOP. I'm asking you and your good colleagues--Pence, Flake, et al--to please, please do something about GOP earmarks.

Forget the DEMs. They are hopeless. But if someone in our party doesn't police our own, I'll be supporting a third party from now on. A recent list of the top 20 earmarkers in the upcoming omnibus bill included Richard Shelby, Kit Bond, Jim Inhoffe, Thad Cochran, Mitch McConnell, Arlen Specter, and Pete Domenici. I realize that's the other body, but still, you guys, please, show true un-partisanship and nail these pigs to the wall, or get used to a permanent minority status, if you survive as a party at all. A lot of us have had it with GOP lying and hypocrisy. Please make these people famous for their deceit. It'll be for the best in the long run. And keep up the good work.

respectfully,

xxxxxx

HAHA!

Neither of my Reps are there!

Menendez is too busy taking bribes and Lautenberg is too dead to bother.

On a lighter note, I’m happy to see that my favorite Senators, Judge Sessions and Dr. Coburn, are not on that list.

If only I could convince the wife to move to their states...

Shelby has always been a pork whore....his website used to be nothing but statements about how much he’s been able to bring the bacon home to Alabama.
