season 10 was basically good apart from towelie & the last one about hockey
season 11 was crud, apart from the “imaginationland” trilogy
season 12 was crud, apart from “major boobage”

they started to get really scared around season 10 of being known as “a conservative show”. season 10 had the most good stuff. manbearpig, smug, the muhomo episodes, the dog whisperer one which had a conservative theme also. since then there’s been basically nothing good.

Is the new season ad making fun of obama? The one with the characters’ heads as the letter O?

Haven't seen the ad yet. But it sounds promising.

They HAVE to trash Obama, he’s probably driving them nuts economically.

I heart South Park? But pretty disappointed in the Obama/McCain episode.

They made Sarah Palin old and ugly and Michelle Obama beautiful and reasonable. When she quite obviously looks like Charles Barley on crack.

Yeah MB was a good piece of entertainment, but it didn’t articulate any of the stuff I like to see articulated. I first realised SP was different from normal TV when I saw the whoopi goldberg bit: “republicans are so stupid” audience: “hahahaha” whoopi goldberg: “i hate republicans” audience: “hahahaha”. that was cutting edge back then.

“Socialism is great until you run out of someone elses money”

do you have a link for that? I can’t find the reference

YES!

Love South Park! I like that they equally shred everyone in politics and Hollywood and that they don’t bow down to anyone’s demands.

For anyone interested, here's link to a good interview from 2006 with Trey and Matt. It's a little long, but it made me like them even more than I already did.

Here's a complete list of HTML Tags.

I caught the end of the “smug alert” episode. When Cartman was entering SanFrancisco tethered to an outside air supply and wearing a full body suit I was wishing I had one for my trip there next week.
