Nah; he just means that he talks too much.
My dad used to get that way, when I was teenager: “I’ve talked until I’m blue in the face, and you STILL don’t...”.
Uhh, that was about/to my BROTHERS; never me...I just overheard them being lectured. No sir; I never caused a moment’s worry or trouble. Yes, that’s it; my BROTHERS is what gave my parents the blue faces and gray hairs.
