Me too. Why is Ann attacking Jindal? Attack RINOS on substance for compromising, attack conservatives on substance for being wrong on policy...but she didn’t attack Jindal on substance. He made a few niceties about the POTUS, but didn’t capitulate on anything policy-wise. Attack him for being nice, fine...what does Slumdog Millionaire have to do with it?

Ever since the 1950s I'd wondered why are issues raised by someone ignored and the someone becomes the "issue."
Now I've learned Saul Alinski's Rules For Radicals #12 says "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it . . . . " That's close enough to be the answer to my question as far as I am concerned.

She would be the "issue" no matter if she was sweetness and light. She's a popular conservative and therefore must be destroyed. So why should she change?

I like Jindal, liked Slumdog Millionaire, love Ann.
It is conservative to be polite, have manners, offer constructive criticism and be honest regarding issues even if our opinions are sometimes offensive. But to be rude without a point....that's not conservative. It's just bad manners. And I love Ann. For now, she's the number one conservative pundit in my eyes, but sometimes she goes overboard.

You said it better than I could...using slurs against gays doesn’t help us fight the gay agenda with regard to marriage, schools, etc. It gives people an excuse to demonize us and limits our ability to fight on that issue. Same thing with ethnic/racial slurs. Hey...she could clear this up by explaining what she meant.
