This is an ab bridge and they are rough. Try that for about a minute. Her butt is a little too high though for it to have maximum effectiveness.

Hmm, the “plank” I know is the push-up starting position. Can you describe the proper position and motion for this plank and what area of the body it works?

In the position shown in the picture, the idea is to just stay in that position for a minute or so. I believe it works the entire core. It’s amazing how hard it gets after 30 seconds or so.

Tiptoes and forearms. Body needs to be straight though. Her butt is too high which takes the pressure off the abs. It works your abs a lower back. Stay in that position for about a minutes. Another exercise to work your obliques is this:
