I'm not being sarcastic, I just want to get a feel for how things happened.
I didn’t stay home but I wonder how much of that Democratic vote stayed home in their beds or their cemetery plots and voted by proxy.
Talk to Ohio. Ohio conservatives stayed home.
I didn’t stay home and I did choke back my bile and vote for McCain. However there was no excitement in me that day, nor did there seem to be much in anyone else on the right.
I heard that 4 million Republicans stayed home. If they had all gone out and voted for McCain-Palin, like I did, Obamao would have still won by about 6 million votes.
Same here... now add anything more fun that might interrupt the day , like having a root canal. I can see a 1.3% drop in Republican voting.

Obama, the media candidate won. That’s how ‘things’ happened.
I wanted to stay home but I didn’t. We all knew things would be very bad with O in office and I didn’t want the guilt.
Unfortunately “our” media candidate won the primary.
I think you can safely say that the 2.6% increase in Democrat voters was thanks to ACORN. They managed to get their base out to vote. Why don’t we have an active group on our side to get the vote out, dead or alive?

I voted for McCain to avoid electing Zero. But if we had elected McCain, we might be in worse shape as a party and almost as dismal a shape as a country. I think McCain has his own ties to Soros and were stronger than I thought. All in all, we may be better with Obama because he’s a symbol in the Democrat party we can rally against.
I voted for SCOTUS more than anything else. Palin on the ticket made it all the easier to do so. But if she weren’t on the ticket, and I didn’t vote, I’m not so sure I’d feel that guilty about it. After all, the GOP left us, not the other way around.

When Christians stay home, democrats win. It’s just that simple.
Indeed, we might have had another Senator or two and a few more Congressmen.
I voted. I never miss a vote no matter how much nose holding I have to do. Our country is too important to give in to selfish tantrums.
