I can’t believe there is no Kubrick. He was the king of long takes. The kid on the big wheel in The Shining, for example.

One of the commentors points out the film Russian Ark a 90 min feature film filmed in one take. Cant beat that. Fascinating movie! Especially when you view the bonus features on the making of it.
The German cameraman, wearing the steadicam outfit and the Sony Hif-Def camera, was just about dead by the end of the 94-minute take. I presume he spent the next two weeks in physical therapy ≤}B^)
I came across this a few years back entirely by accident at the local Blockbuster.
