As noted upthread, the first part of the oath is to support and defend the Constitution. Perhaps our military should provide an armed escort for Obama to get a certified copy of his original birth certificate. Why are he and 'chelle sucking up to the military so hard? [And yes, that was quite the play on words, wasn't it ! ]
I especially liked Attorney Mathew B. Tully's [of the Washington, D.C.-based firm Tully Rinckey PLLC] comment at the end: ""And on TV last night I saw the chief of staff of the Army salute President Obama, so there are a lot of people who believe he is the president," Tully said.
Yet one can't help, with all the innuendo of threats Tully throws around in this article, but wonder whether Tully is part of BO's certifigate legal team.

The military are sworn to protect the constitution. It is a tough call. They are not asked to swear personal allegiance to the POTUS.
