I know I am new to FR and not entirely sure I am doing this correctly however having said that I know there was a lot of interest in Glenn Beck's show about the Bubba Effect and wanted to let y'all know the subject is being discussed right now on his show.

Thank you for the welcome. I would refer you to the clips posted on FR to fully explain the Bubba Effect (just seach Beck then watch the three part series. I think it was in the third clip, you will see alot of traffic about the subject). BTW, I chose my screen name based off the bubba effect, not the former philanderer that lived in our white house. Guess I should have read the Lexicon first hu?
I don’t know, I was listening from my office. Can’t figure out how to get the wireless working and thought it was more important to get the word out that it was on. Thank god for DVR:-) I am going to rewind and watch the segment. If anyone is interested I can give a play by play afterward.
The “Bubba Effect” is Beck’s code word for armed resistance against the federal government by white ethnic militias.

I saw the original segment last week. I wish I had Tivo to record this segment. I would certainly like to know what is discussed in this segment.
The “bubba effect” coined by one of Glenn’s guests on Friday is essentially when the government continually injures people trying to protect their rights and many ordinary people (Bubbas) decide to take matters into their own hands. Not just one person here and there, but lots of people.
The example on Friday’s show was say a rancher in Texas protecting his property from illegal invaders and kills one or more of them. ATF and FBI descend on the rancher. Instead of sitting by and offering second hand support (letters, encouragement, etc) this time other Texans and people from other States also descend on the ranch to protect the rancher from the ATF/FBI causing a flashpoint of mass civil unrest.
I am pretty sure it will be on Youtube shortly.
What I appreciated the most about this segment was that when Glen asked, “How do we stop this”, the response was, “I don’t think we’d want to.”
It was pointed out that many of the “Bubbas” would be ex-military. People who were trained for combat and had sworn to defend the Constitution. This commitment and knowledge is for life.

The Bubba Effect describes a condition wherein the people perceive that the Federal Government had violated the Constitution and take matters into their own hands to bring down said government via militia groups mostly made up of ex-military.
The CIA guy said that this was not necessarily a *bad* thing. :-)
