The first to get a Post Mortem Oscar after drugging himself into oblivion in an anorectic druggie actress’s apartment.

Judy Garland’s rendition of “The Man That Got Away” has got to be one of the greatest vocal performances ever recorded. I can’t even think of a superlative to do it justice, except perhaps “perfection.”

I’ll have to do that, yes, because what I know about her, and admittedly it isn’t much

You don't say?

According to Peter Bogdanovich himself, who has been a better film historian than directory (arguably), the golden age of America Cinema was 1912-1972, roughly. I agree. What you are voting for, so to speak, is Hollywood's distant past and not its presence or foreseeable future.

In fact, what seems to about to replace Hollywood is Bollywood, that is now producing wholesome, if often silly entertainment, with intelligent, educated, articulate actors and directors, who along with that industry will grow. Hollywood is in the sewer!

He’ll always just be Jeff Spicoli to me.

I can't take Sean Penn seriously after this photo op in New Orleans bailing his own rescue boat out

The best Oscar show I’ve seen since the early days of Billy Crystal.
Jackman is doing a fantastic job and so far there has been little or no politiking!
I am truly enjoying this.

What is it that makes someone so stupid as to come out and ridicule the beliefs of others?

It’s funny that PB cuts off the great period so early into his own career. I would end the great period in the early 1980s. It could be great again if people around here and many others would take cinema seriously like they used to in the 1950s.

Let’s not forget that a lot of hatred of Hollywood is envy as well.

I think you’re being generous calling her an actress. She LOOKS like a heroin addict.

What do you think about a Hollywood competitor?

In Branson Missouri, for example.

It only took Fox News 10 years to knock out every other channel, in viewership, influence and momentum.

The market (contrary to what your current batch of nitwits in Washington thinks) works.

What’s needed is real competition. An alternative, which will simply put Hollywood out of business.

By doing the job, better.

Maybe you can hit the abuse button and delete yourself.

Sheesh. You people who worship Godless, America-bashing, freedom-destroying, homosexual-promoting, global-warming-believing sacks of left-wing crap sure are touchy.
