History
BeaverTails began when Grant and Pam Hooker decided to turn their family recipe for fried dough into a corporate business. [1] In 1980, the Hookers opened up the first BeaverTail stand in the Byward Market in Ottawa, which was two years after they had created BeaverTails Canada Inc. The company expanded throughout Canada and then internationally in the 1990s. In 2002 the company moved its head office to Montreal and refocused its attention on domestic development. Since 2008 select international development has been reinitiated.
Toppings
Some make their own beavertails, but BeaverTails Canada Inc. list the following toppings: Cinnamon and sugar, Killaloe Sunrise (cinnamon, sugar & lemon), Chocolate hazelnut, Maple butter, Apple cinnamon, Banana chocolate, Maple walnut, Triple Trip (chocolate, peanut butter and Reese's pieces®), Avalanche (cream cheese frosting and SKOR®) and the Voyageur.

That one looks like apple cinnamon.

Zero bought a beavertail from Grant and Pam Hooker's Byward market store while he was here. ;-)
Did Clinton ever do that?

He bought a keychain for one of his daughters with a Canadian $5 bill at the Oxxo Market. Obama told shopkeeper Adnan Ustun that his daughter collects the trinkets. I'll give him credit for this, he doesn't seem like Hillary who expects to be given things for free when doing PR work.

Slick got his beaver on the sly.....well he tried to get it on the sly.

"Obama received a heros welcome as he emerged from his limo and then waved from behind a bullet-proof panel of glass erected in the arch of the Peace Tower. The much-anticipated gesture was largely obscured from the crowd by a parked ambulance.Bulletproof glass, standby ambulance...and this is CANADA we're talking about. What happens when he visits someplace where they REALLY don't like us? Maybe a free-market country?

Does this doob never think? Anyone with the msm following their every move should NEVER buy anything with “beaver” or “tail” in the name.

The Canadians can afford to give him a hero's welcome...he isn't their president! At the end of 4 yrs they won't care so much for him either. He's already dropping in favor here, so he went where he'd be cheered.

The Secret Service asked a nervous Jessica Milien, 17, an employee at the BeaverTail kiosk, to bring the president one of the savory treats. She served him the aptly named ObamaTail, created in honour of the presidents inauguration.Yep, completely spur-of-the-moment just like "hey, Hillary , look at the pile of rocks I found on this beach!" spur-of-the-moment.

Bulletproof glass, standby ambulance...and this is CANADA we're talking about. What happens when he visits someplace where they REALLY don't like us?The Secret Service has to carry the whole load in those cases. Here, they had the assistance of the RCMP, the OPP, and the Ottawa police.
Maybe a free-market country?
Which one?
