Ann Coulter insults TCNJ students, calls liberals (expletive)

EWING — Despite the less-than-favorable conditions, more 1,000 students, parents and curious citizens endured an almost two-hour-long wait in line to hear Ann Coulter speak at The College of New Jersey last night.

As the precipitation steadily turned into a wintry mix, the shouts of student protesters permeated the night sky — “Two, Four, Six, Eight! We won’t tolerate this hate!”

For those not familiar with her work, Coulter has become infamous for her radically conservative views and shockingly explicit sound bites concerning issues of race, gender and, of course, hatred of liberals.

She is one of those polarizing personalities that evokes emotion from both sides of the political spectrum, and has made a successful career doing it, with seven books on the New York Times’ best-seller List.

you are absolutely correct. Despite the liberal caterwauling, at no time has Ann, or any other conservative commentator, approached the rudeness, name calling, hatred, or invective availabe at such liberal icons as air america, MSNBC, CNN, etc. if you want to see truly obscene hate, go to any left wing public forum- just don’t bring your kids.

We’d have to have public crucifiction of saints to begin to approach the vileness of the left.

Thirty minutes into her talk, about 40 students... walked out [chanting] "Gay, straight, black, white! Same struggle, same fight!" and flashed a peace sign. Coulter reacted with tacit satisfaction, calmly took a sip from her Diet Coke and said, "I guess they're off to the global warming conference."

I hadn't heard about Ann Coulter's broken jaw until I read the posted article. Seems that the "compassionate" and "humanitarian" left-leaning bloggers could hardly contain their glee when they posted the news.

If anyone knows how she sustained the broken jaw, please tell us. I'm wondering if she may have been an assault victim and for some reason doesn't want to go public about it.

I didn’t know about it. One letter in response to the “article” (it’s an op-ed to make Goebbels a little misty) point out that the postponement was from December (broken jaw) not January.

It is increasingly obvious that she did NOT.

The "molehill" from which this entire "mountain" of a "broken jaw, wired shut" rumor arose appears to be some minor personal matter that required Ann to re-schedule two of her speaking engagements.

The leader of one of the groups whose event with Ann was rescheduled sent out an imprecise e-mail that made it APPEAR that Ann was badly hurt -- we think.

Not sure how long it takes to heal from a "broken jaw that was wired shut" -- but the Page Six story that started all of this was posted on 11/25.

You have just seen photos and video of Ann speaking in public at NYU (with obviously NO "jaw wired shut") on 12/10.

Plus, ANN says it never happened.

So, I call "B.S." on the whole "jaw wired shut" stuff -- and ask the lefties who are claiming otherwise to PROVE IT, or SHUT UP.

RonDog posted that that the "broken jaw" story was a farce concocted by the leftist media twerps.

If she fell on the stars at home, I think it would be improbable that she would break her jaw, more so if that was the only significant injury. I would think that most broken jaws in people her age come from trauma suffered while in an upright position.
