Would the GIs given such assignments be told that much detail about what their “operation” actually was all about? Would they not be inextricably deep into its execution by the time they found out? No, the troops would go along with at least the first wave of it. By the second wave the “unreliable” troops would be culled out and perhaps sent to join the citizens in incarceration.

You need to stop watching Hollywoods version of our military, my friend.

Your post indicates inadvertently that you believe the MSM’s view that anyone in the military is a idiot dead ender that joined out of desperation, or because they can’t ‘function’ in society.

Nothing could be further from the truth.
