A new constitution is my greatest fear, not hope. Any con-con will turn into a leftist circus, organized by Acorn types. A new constitution would write most of communism into “law.”

Half of the country would accept it, and demand full compliance. Half would say, “hell no.” That's the plot of my third book.

Give the military a “new constitution” to swear to uphold, and many will have all the rationalization they need to enforce tyranny. During a depression, it will be hard to turn down one of the only guaranteed paychecks available.

“Sorry honey, the kids don't eat this week, cuz I quit the Army/police dept.”

Millions will accept the "new constitution" to keep their paychecks coming. Under the new constitution, there might be no 2nd amd, for example, so the police and military would be free to confiscate weapons, while “upholding the constitution.”

But at least half of nation will vehemently disagree, and that's when CW2 starts.

I agree with what ya say yet a Con Con still has to be approved by two thirds of congress and then ratified by at least 38 (?) states does it not ?!??!?

I don’t think the numbers are there for em to do it and at their current rate of rat promotional successes I predict that conservatives will get a dead cat bounce in 2010 and Obama will be a house cat with no mice to play with till he’s ousted in 2012. They are their own worst enemies right now. And this is just shy of a complete month of sedition from them......
