Even though the title says NG takes away weapons the film is of POLICE taking the weapons. Don’t confuse the two. Watch it again.

...and Thomas Jefferson was a wise man and already knew what those results would be. I’m not worried about this. It’s America, and if things got that bad, the gool ‘ol boys in this country would set things right.

I have a question for the military members:

Can you, as a member of our military, pledged to defend and support the Constitution and the safety of America, ever envision a situation so dire as to make a military takeover no longer out of the realm of possibilities?

Most of these nice young folks are too young to remember what happened. Either it was not mentioned in their public school indoctrination or it was mischaracterized. There is little chance that most of these kids have ever read the Constitution or understand its importance. That’s exactly why it’s important for some people to bring up painful truths about our government.

If that were true it would mean he believes the military are of higher character than himself, since he believes they would honor an oath.

No, they were BATF and FBI.

I do not believe that there was any official or unofficial military involvement. I believe the ATF got a tank from the Texas National Guard.

I can’t remember the rest of the joke, but the punch line was “Because we haven’t started playing cowboys and indians yet.”

I almost posted that! I didn’t know if it would be considered a “threat”, so I refrained.

Nothing says how I feel about the UN better than that helmet.

I think the military will either be confined to their barracks, or there will be an executive order leading up to the removal of weapons on US military bases.

Sure, that's the way to do it!

Posse Comitatus aside, Commanders would be pretty busy and frustrated just attempting to track down their own troops’ personal weapons, not to mention surrendering their own. I just don’t see this happening. A federal civil police force dedicated to the task?- yes.

Agreed, Many commanders have many personal weapons.

There are numerous links to articles and websites about Wesley Clark being directly involved in the Waco massacre. Rather than me listing them it might be worth a search for those interested to make up their own mind.

This is what we should plan against; it’s not the military we should fear. The local police and the “civilian defense force” will be the ones coming for you.

Not a threat, a guarantee.

I believe there was a survey done on this in the ninties-

The name of it may have been “Twenty-Nine Palms”.
